February 5, 2019, Fog and Mist, How Floods Are Predicted


It’s a damp, misty morning. Scattered showers move in later today. Rain and thunderstorms tonight through Thursday. There’s talk of flooding. From the NWS:

Water levels also will rise on area rivers, particularly the Ohio, Rough, Rolling Fork, Blue, and Green Rivers, and Elkhorn Creek. Stay tuned for later forecasts for predicted river levels. Flood Watches may be needed in subsequent forecasts.
