January 21, 2019, Moon Takes A Bow


I reject the trend toward giving the Moon multiple names and will stick with the tried and true seasonal monikers like Harvest, Snow, Hunter and the like. This is the Wolf Moon. It was eclipsed last night by the Earth’s shadow and, if I understand my astronomy, it is setting almost just as the Sun rises.
