Atmosphere:

NOAA’s newest geostationary satellite, GOES 17 (GOES West), positioned over the pacific ocean, is not officially operational, but has been providing images during its testing period. I am now getting hourly infrared images relayed through my GOES East feed.
Sunny and 31 today. The pros say we may get a few inches of snow starting tomorrow night and lasting into Sunday.
